Combined Driving

MEMBER OF THE 2003, 2005 & 2009 USET World Championship Team

Not only is Sara Schmitt a skilled Dressage competitor, trainer and instructor, but she is also a talented Combined Driver. She a USET long listed driver and in 2003 was selected to compete with her Morgan stallion, "High Country Doc", in the first ever World Combined Driving Pony Championships. At the 2003 FEI World Combined Driving Pony Championships in Karlstetten, Austria, Sara and Doc won 6th individual overall and helped the US team to a 6th place finish! At the 2005 World Combined Driving Pony Championships in England, finished 10th! In 2009 the US Pony Team finished 4th overall.

DRIVING LESSONS AND CLINICS

Sara has been very successful competing in combined driving, having won the 2005 National Combined Driving Champion - Advanced Single Pony with "High Country Doc" and the same title in 2007 with "Batman". Sara is available for lessons in the northern New Jersey area. She will also travel throughout the United States for clinics.

JUDGING
Sara is an ADS "r" driving judge and is available for clinics throughout the United States and Canada. Event organizers have come to rely upon Sara for her dedicated professionalism, as well as her thoughtful and helpful comments for each driver.
